Series R Mineral Insulated RTD

 The Series R Mineral Insulated RTD's are known for their excellent mechanical durability and resistance to electrical breakdown. Probe sheaths can be bent most any angle without special equipment. The Series R RTD's are offered in a variety of configuration to meet your application. For smaller sheath diameters, and transition fitting is used between the cold end of the sheath and the extension wires. This fitting is 1-1/4" long by 1/4" OD for 1/8" and smaller sheath diameters, 1-1/2" long by 3/8" OD for 3/16" and 1/4" sheath diameters. Tip temperatures can be as high as 650°C (1202°F), while fiberglass extension wire is limited to 450°C (842°F).
