Gas mass flow controllers must be fast and accurate to establish stable flow. Our mass flow controllers reach their setpoints faster than any others, which enables them to suppress fluctuations in line pressure before they affect your process downstream. Customized valve options and factory PID tuning ensure that your mass flow controller will perform well in your specific application.

The MCQ flow controller delivers the fast control response of Alicat’s standard controller to applications that require higher line pressures (160 - 320 PSIA). This high-pressure mass flow controller achieves new setpoints rapidly and stays there, even in the face of pressure spikes.  The MCQ series is also available for use with aggressive or corrosive gases (MCQS), where the valve is upgraded to 303 stainless steel, the sensor to 316L stainless steel, and the elastomers to FFKM to withstand corrosion.

Alicat MCQ series flow controllers can be custom built with your choice of options.  Choose your communications protocol, display, process connections, elastomers, flow totalizer, and calibration. Other build options include your choice of valve options to ensure optimal performance under your expected process conditions.  Need further customization?  Contact us and we’d be happy to help you build the instrument you need.

Each flow meter comes with a NIST-traceable calibration certificate and an Alicat operating manual.  Power supply sold separately.

Other Alicat Flow Controllers

The MC series is Alicat’s standard mass flow controller, with models that can measure flow rates as high as 5000 slpm or as low as 0.0025 sccm, and is available for use with non-corrosive gases (MC) or corrosive gases (MCS).  The MCW, or “Whisper”, is best for low pressure drop applications, which makes these controllers ideal for controlling mass and volumetric flow rates when there is little available system pressure.
