Stopping an operational process for validation or calibration is a necessary evil.  Alicat’s portable flow calibrators make this procedure more palatable by reducing the downtime and disruption to your process.  Instant-on and real-time readings for multiple gases across wide flow ranges let you get in and out quickly.  Portable flow meters make system checks, calibrations and audits fast and easy.  All portable flow instruments offer laboratory-grade accuracy and multivariate readings that update 1000 times a second. 

The MB series is suitable for most flow measurement applications, with models that can measure flow rates as high as 5000 slpm or as low as 0.0025 sccm.  Instruments in the MB series are also available with an optional “S” configuration for use with aggressive or corrosive gases (MBS).  In this configuration, the flow body and sensor are upgraded to 316L stainless steel and the elastomers are FFKM to withstand corrosion.

Each flow meter comes with a NIST-traceable calibration certificate, an Alicat operating manual, a micro-USB charging cable and AC wall adapter.

The MBW, or “Whisper”, is best for low pressure drop applications and for reducing pneumatic response time at flow rates of 50 sccm or less to minimize system impact.  The versatile MBQ flow meter is useful when your line pressures are high (160 - 320 PSIG).  The MBQ reduces the time it takes to verify or validate flows that are operating at high pressures, and is also available for corrosive gases (MBQS).
