Attaches a Bluetooth enabled Kestrel 2700 Ballistics Weather Meter to any tripod
This vane mount accessory securely attaches a Bluetooth enabled Kestrel 2700 Ballistics Weather Meter to any tripod (tripod not included) or other ¼-20 fitted bracket. Once mounted, the Kestrel 2700 becomes a simple and accurate source for wind and weather data for your smart phone or tablet. With a large wind vane and precision pivot, this vane mount keeps the Kestrel oriented into the wind for continuous measurement of wind speed, wind direction, and other key weather parameters.
This vane mount does not add wind direction or Bluetooth capabilities to a Kestrel basic meter that wasn't shipped with Bluetooth capabilities. Currently, the Kestrel 2700 Ballistics Weather Meter is the only weather meter in the Basic line that includes this. This vane mount is also compatible with the following Kestrel Meters, but will not add any additional functionality or performance upgrades:

Kestrel 2500 and 2500NV
