The Fluke 87V True-RMS industrial digital multimeter has earned its reputation as the digital multimeter that industrial technicians trust.  When productivity is on the line, the 87V delivers the accuracy and advanced troubleshooting capabilities you need to solve problems fast.  Use its low pass filter function to measure voltage and frequency accurately on electrically noisy equipment like adjustable speed motor drives. Use the peak capture function to detect intermittent problems and transients as fast as 250 µs.  And work with confidence. The Input Alert function gives you an audible warning against wrong use of input jacks. Fluke 80 Series multimeters are independently tested for use in CAT IV 60- V/CAT II 1000 V environments. They can withstand impulses in excess of 8000 V and reduce risks related to surges and spikes

The Fluke PRV240 Proving Unit is a portable, pocket-sized, battery-powered voltage source. It is unique in that it sources stable AC and DC voltages for both LoZ and HiZ instruments.  This proving unit provides a safe and easy method for verifying proper operation of your test tool before attempting to test for either an energized source or a de-energized source without the need for cumbersome PPE, or in cases where no known voltage source is available. Your environment may still require minimal PPE such as hard, safety glasses or earplugs when using a proving unit.  The PRV240 reduces the risk of shock and arc flash by removing unnecessary exposure to a potentially hazardous electrical environment while verifying the functionality of test tools before and after absence or presence of voltage is checked.
